Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited (FFC), one of Pakistan’s leading fertilizer producers, has announced its Two-Year Apprenticeship Program under the Apprenticeship Act. This program offers aspiring individuals a chance to gain hands-on experience and technical expertise at FFC’s state-of-the-art plants in Goth Machhi, Sadiqabad (Rahim Yar Khan District), Mirpur Mathelo (Ghotki District), and Bin Qasim (Karachi).

Available Trades and Eligibility

FFC is inviting applications for the following trades:

1. Chemical Plant Operator

• Minimum Qualification: Matric (Science) with F.Sc. or Three Years Diploma of Associate Engineering in Chemical Technology

2. Mechanical Technician

• Minimum Qualification: Matric (Science) with Three Years Diploma of Associate Engineering in Mechanical Technology

3. Instrument Technician

• Minimum Qualification: Matric (Science) with Three Years Diploma of Associate Engineering in Instrument or Electronics Technologies

4. Electrical Technician

• Minimum Qualification: Matric (Science) with Three Years Diploma of Associate Engineering in Electrical Technology

5. Laboratory Analyst

• Minimum Qualification: F.Sc. with Chemistry

6. Computer Operator

• Minimum Qualification: ICS with One-Year or Three-Year Diploma in IT

Eligibility Criteria

• Age Limit: Candidates over 28 years of age as of 19 May 2025 are not eligible.
• Academic Requirements: At least 2nd Division in Matric (Science) with relevant qualifications. Overqualified candidates will not be considered.
• Candidates who have already undergone or completed an apprenticeship in any industry need not apply.
• Each applicant may apply for only one trade. Duplicate applications will not be entertained.
• Providing false or incomplete information will result in disqualification at any stage.

How to Apply

Step 1: Online Application through NTS

• Visit the NTS website (www.nts.org.pk) to apply online.
• Test fees can be paid through 1Link 1Bill Participating Banks, ATM, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, EasyPaisa, JazzCash, TCS Express Counters, or by downloading the fee challan/deposit slip.
• Shortlisted candidates will be called by NTS for a written test at the nearest available test center.

NTS Test Dates:

• 1st Test Date: 5th January 2025
• 2nd Test Date: 2nd February 2025

Step 2: Submission to FFC

• Candidates who qualify in the NTS Test must submit their application online through the FFC Career Portal at careers.ffc.com.pk by 20th February 2025.
• Ensure that the application includes complete details of bio-data, academic qualifications (SSC/HSSC/Diploma), and the NTS Test score.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for final interviews at Goth Machhi (Sadiqabad), Lahore, and Karachi.
• TA/DA will be provided as per company policy.
